Nurse Practitioner, Rhonda Pape

Rhonda always knew that she wanted to be involved in the medical field. Early in her career, she worked in the emergency room as a Paramedic. She moved into the ICU and spent several years working in the Columbus area as both a bedside nurse and staff educator. After finishing her Masters degree, Rhonda completed a fellowship in Urgent Care Medicine.

Rhonda’s mom was diagnosed with progressive MS in the early 2000s. Watching both her mom’s challenges and strength while navigating this disease provided Rhonda with a unique view into the effects of this disease. She’s excited to be a part of ongoing research for multiple sclerosis and care of individuals like her mom.

You can most often find me following my very busy teen daughter to Band and Softball events. Otherwise I am doing anything outdoors, including Gardening, Hiking and Canoeing. I also love to escape into a good book and travel. My favorite way to relax and reset is sitting on the beach, any beach whether that is on Lake Superior in northern Michigan or any stretch of white sandy ocean beach.
